Competition: SAE Aero Design West

Location - Van Nuys, California
- Design a plane that can fly via RC remote
- Carry a static payload
- Release a cargo from 100 feet in the air and hit a target on the ground
- Implement a telemetry system to provide real time readings for the plane's altitude and airspeed at the ground station, as well as a first-person view.
Rules:
- Plane weight must be less than 12 lbs. To achieve a maximum score, the plane must weigh 8 lbs or less.
- The static cargo must be between 12 lbs and 18 lbs, with 15 lbs being the highest scoring.
- Telemetry and camera may not operate at 2.4 GHz (this is the remote control frequency).
- Altitude must be visible and recorded at the time of cargo drop.
- Dropped cargo must land within fifty feet of the target.
